As a M.Ed. and Special Education graduate and Kimberly worked in New Jersey public schools and Montessori Education. Currently as an Educational consultant she incorporates mindful education practices and yoga in the classroom regularly – strategies that support social and emotional learning, while planting seeds to establish a peaceful school environment.
In addition to working in the schools, Kimberly teaches yoga to a wide audience. Her group and private classes include Vinyasa flow, basic yoga, Kundalini, Qi Gong, reiki, somatic yoga, children and teen, family yoga and yoga for children with special needs.
Through yoga, Kimberly hopes to create peace, happiness and joy in the lives of children and adults of all ages. One day she dreams of becoming a Therapist for children and families facing emotional, mental and developmental disabilities.
Kimberly is also currently studying to become a somatic movement therapist and to obtain her second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Yoga is a gift that Kimberly unwraps daily. Her belief that everything happens for a reason affirms her evolution on her path. She embraces every opportunity to share this practice with the world, especially the youth of today.
