October 18, 2019 - We are so grateful that the Rotary International water grant has been approved! Global warming created a very serious drought emergency this year in Nambale. Even as water was becoming an issue due to the growth of the school and the school farm, the rains just stopped. The children had to go to the river to collect water in order to meet the most basic water needs.
Rotary International is providing the school with a dug well and the long anticipated bio-digester to turn the waste from the student population and the farm into methane fuel to heat water. Our commitment to ecological development is gaining partners!
Thank you Rotary International!
