Lizzie was one of the first student interns to travel to the Nambale Magnet School in 2018 and helped launch the lasting partnership between KDP and the Nambale Magnet School, as well as work hand in hand with teachers, and brought over suitcases full of supplies. She instantly connected with the teachers, staff, and learners while visiting for 3 weeks. Lizzie was honored to later on present at the national conference for Kappa Delta Pi in 2018 to bring awareness to the school as well as introduce the lasting partnership. She also continues to stay connected to her local chapter at URI to send groups of student interns to the Nambale Magnet School.
Lizzie's passion for helping others and creativity makes her a vital resource to the Cornerstone Project and the Nambale Magnet School.
