September 13, 2021 - Farming is part of the identity of the Nambale Magnet School. The farm instills in the student population a sense of duty, responsibility and value for food security.
The farm is the foundation for agribusiness which is an important facet of the culture of rural Kenya. This offers also another vocational avenue of exploration for the children at the school and has been widely acclaimed for its success.
The school farm the Nambale Magnet School has established and grown over the years is aligned with new competency based agriculture curriculum that the Kenyan government is beginning to roll out.
The activities of the school make the education received at NMS more integrated and relevant. The formula of the Nambale Magnet School is ahead of its time, innovative, and forward thinking.
